      WOLF CREEK - Pine Ridge completed a successful run through the Big Foot Conference B girl's volleyball tournament Friday, Oct. 31 at Wolf Creek School with a 26-24 25- 22 win over Red Cloud. Batesland defeated American Horse 25-21 14-25 15-9 for third while Little Wound got by Loneman for fifth 25-23 20-25 15-13.

New energy, expanded schedule marks new Oglala Lakota College men's and women's basketball season
      PIYA WICONI - Practice opened Oct.22 for both the men's and women's basketball programs at Oglala Lakota College. Under new OLC athletic director, Mary Tobacco, the college teams are preparing for 24 game seasons which get underway Saturday, Nov. 15 at Little Wound School in Kyle against Sinte Gleska University.
