      BISMARCK - In the women's game, Bismarck State broke open their game with Northland Community and Technical College in the second half; up by only 36-27, Ida Clarke, Red Cloud, came off the bench to score nine of her game high 11 points to help lead the Mystics to an 82-49 win on Friday.

Girls basketball season starts this week, boys next week
      PINE RIDGE RESERVATION - The running started with a vengeance this week as the girls basketball season got underway officially on Monday, Nov. 24 with the first games set for Dec. 9. Dusty LeBeau returns as head coach in Pine Ridge, they will be looking at dethroning Bennett County as District 14A champs and moving on to regions and state in Watertown.
