Prairie Edge Review At the time of this writing, we have just completed three days at the 2nd Annual Language Summit in Rapid City…Lakota, Dakota, Nakota…There were lots and lots of very friendly people – all of them were contentedly having a great time together – like coming to a family reunion – almost everyone talking “the Language”.
The most popular language book during the Summit was Reading and Writing the Lakota Language (book and accompanying CD) by Albert White Hat Sr. who gave an excellent presentation during the conference. Italkedwithsomeofth p p who helped with preparation of Reading and Writing the Lakota Language, and learned a little about the many, many hours of dedicated work that went into the preparation to make it as accurate and reliable as possible.
