Scott, Gotheridge return to Bismarck State for second year Clark, Taken Alive return as well to Lady Mystics

eason with an 87-77 win over Red River College and Scott chipped in 12 points and was the team’s top rebounder with 10 boards. Lester Gotheridge, also Red Cloud graduate helped out with six points, six rebounds, steal and an assist. Last year, in their freshman year, Scott and Gotheridge helped lead the Mystics to the JUCO Nationals.

The following night, Scott finished with 17 points, three assists, two steals and a rebound in BSC’s 112-78 win over Canadian Mennonite University; Gotheridge chipped in five points, eight rebounds and four assists.

This past weekend, BSC went 1-2 in the Mondak Preseason tournament in Williston, N. Dak. Scott finished up with five points, fur rebounds and three steal in Bismarck’s opening tournament 118-83 loss to Williston. BSC bounced back with a 108-87 win over United Tribes as Scott helped with 18 points, seven rebounds two steals and an assist, Gotheridge chipped in one rebound, one steal and two assists. BSC finished up the tournament with a tough 68-66 loss to Dawson Community College, Scott grabbed a team high nine rebounds and helped with three points, one assist and one steal.

Lester Gothridge Lester Gothridge Bismarck State is now 3-2 on the season and will host Northland Community and Technical College on Friday and Little Big Horn College on Saturday.

The Bismarck State College Lady Mystics opened the season 3-0 defeating Red River College 92-29, Canadian Mennonite University 97-67 and North Dakota State College of Science 75-58 but lost their two most recent games 66-57 to Lake Region State College on Friday and 75- 72 to Williston State College on Saturday. Ida Clarke played only six minutes against Williston but hit three threes and 12 points and one rebound; she chipped in with four points, three rebounds and two assists against CMU and three points and two rebounds against Red River College. Shanley Taken Alive is averaging five points and four rebounds a game.
