White River bounces back at Onida, Pine Ridge downs Little Wound

ONIDA/PINE RIDGE White River Tigers had to re group right away after their first loss of the season to Red Cloud on Tuesday, Thursday they traveled to Onida to take on Sully Buttes, the team they lost the State B championship to last March by one point and after a slowfirst quarter the Tigers broke open the game in the second cruising to 90 78 win.

White River is 12 1 now and will host Wall Thursday.

Close for three quarters, Pine Ridge jumped out in the fourth to beat Little Wound 69 56 Saturday in Pine Ridge. Brad Hussman led the Thorpes with 20 points, Orie Brown chipped in 15 and Bryer Iron Cloud Cottier hit for 16 points in his first game for Pine Ridge after transferring from Red Cloud.

Pine Ridge will host St. Francis on Tuesday and travel to RC Stevens on Saturday, they are 8 4 on the season.
