PINE RIDGE – The Pine Ridge school board selected Lyle “Dusty” LeBeaux as both the girls and boys basketball coach for the coming 2010/2011 school year; Dusty won the 2009 State A girls championship and took third at state this spring. He plans to co-head coach the boys with his son Jerome, this year the father-son partnership helped to direct the boys program into a successful 14-8 season, losing to Red Cloud by one point in the District 15A championship game.

Nellie Long is set to return as head girls volleyball coach while Bam Brewer was originally selected for the football head coach position but a problem with his background check knocked him out so Sam Bravo will head up the football program.
